After dining for so many years at Vittorio and Caterina's other local Italian Restaurant I was happy to see that this newly opened restaurant would take on a different flavor. This beautiful location has tried to reinvent itself a number of times since I moved to the area only to fail unfortunately, so it was so nice to see the successful owners of one of my favorite restaurants open up their newest venture here.
Pomodoro is (Italian for "tomato") so don't read to much into the name, it's what's on the plate here that will get your taste buds dancing. I've tried a number of dishes here before putting my ink to pad so I could write an unbiased appraisal of the food and service here. Like anything associated with these wonderful owners the customer service is above board, they always exceed our expectations.
I found the sauce to be simple but bursting with flavors which usually means it's probably a lot more complex than it appears but what do I know, but for me it's the textures that really makes it special. The perfectly cooked pasta and meatballs is off the charts in my opinion and choosing the "Bucatini" Pasta was a little outside the norm for me but was just incredible, if you've never experienced this straw like pasta I'd recommend it especially if you're wanting something that's truly unique. Everything I've tried has been delicious, it's so nice to have another great dine in and takeout option in NSB... -

So this may be new, I'm actually doing a review in in anticipation of going to Pizza Pomodoro for the first time! We have visited their other restaurant numerous times and the service, flavors and overall experience is always exceptional.
I'm literally salivating as I'm looking at the menu trying to decide what I'm going to have tonight. My daughter's already decided what she's going to have just a matter of my wife & son making their decisions.
Truly looking forward to it and will follow up with a proper review after our first visit tonight.
Ok, we got there a bit late - but there were still s few tables eating so we sat. Really nice inside with the oven drawing your attention right away. Service was above par and the timings were great. We started with calamari which was very crisp and tender, just how we like it. We also ordered the caprese salad, bucatini with meatballs and burrata and also a diavolo pizza. Absolutely no idea it could be so good. The pasta was perfect, the crust was thin and crunchy with the just the right amount of salt and heat coming from the soppressata. My kids argued over splitting a cannoli (19 & 20 yrs old). It was apparently very good.
I am looking foward to trying a sub and some of the other pies on our next visits.
Now we will argue about going to Tianos or Pizza Pomodoro. But either way, I win! -

I was reviewing Yelp looking for a new place to have lunch. After reading the reviews we decided to go to Pizza Pomodoro and give it a try. The Restaurant looks Fresh and Clean and service was fast and friendly. We had the Spaghetti with meat ball & a Pizza. The Spaghetti Sauce was very nice with Fresh taste and the meatball was tasty. The pizza crust was one of the best I've had and the topping fresh and tasty too. The salad as good and bread was really nice too. We have found a new Italian Restaurant that we will visit often.
The Pizza Chef is from Italy and we talked with him about his life in Italy. All of the employees were kind a very friendly.
One of of Friends sent me a message telling me they found a new Italian Restaurant they recently visited and wanted to take us to eat. It was Pizza Pomodoro. -

The best pizza in NSB. They food is delicious and the staff is amazing. Authentic pizza for sure!! If you are looking for a great place to get pizza, pasta, soups, salads, or desert this is the place to go!

Pizza Pomodoro recently opened. The owners are so welcoming and the food is freshly prepared. The bread is homemade and so doughy and fresh. The dipping sauce is tasty. The chicken was not over cooked and topped on a fresh arugula salad. The outdoor dining area is great for those who enjoy the Florida sunshine. The inside dining room is homey and makes you feel as if you are part of their kitchen.
